A WaterRower with a Version 2 S4 monitor (this has a USB plug on the back).
A ComModule.
Step-by-Step Connection Guide
Step 1: Fit the ComModule on the back of the S4 Monitor
Make sure to replace the back plate of the S4 Monitor with the included backplate suitable for the ComModule.
Have the ComModule seated properly so that the "PC" symbol shows up on the S4 Monitor.
Step 2: Launch the WATERROWER Connect App
Open the WATERROWER Connect app on your device.
Tap the connection icon in the top right corner on the dashboard.
Turn on the ComModule to broadcast the Bluetooth signal; the button should light up blue.
The app should list the ComModule in the equipment list, tap the appropriate device.
Troubleshooting Tips
Ensure that your device has Bluetooth turned on.
Recharge your ComModule.
If your ComModule is flashing, refer to the error codes below:
Red continuous flashing - Unable to connect to the S4 Monitor - Reseat the ComModule
Red 3-4 flashes - Communication error - Turn the ComModule off by holding the button for > 4 seconds.
Red one slow flash - Firmware issue - Contact WaterRower for a firmware update
