Connect Your S4 Monitor
What You’ll Need
An Android device with a USB port.
A USB cable that fits both your Android device and the S4 monitor.
A WaterRower with a Version 2 S4 monitor (this has a USB port on the back).
How to Connect
Step 1: Locate the USB Port on Your S4 Monitor
Find the USB port on the back of your WaterRower’s S4 monitor.
Step 2: Plug in the USB Cable
Connect one end of the USB cable to the S4 monitor.
Attach the other end to your Android device.
Step 3: Enable USB Access
A notification may appear on your device asking for permission to connect to the WaterRower. Tap 'Yes' or 'Allow' to allow the USB connection.
Step 4: Open the WATERROWER Connect App
Launch the app on your Android device.
Tap the connection icon (in the top right corner of the dashboard). The app should recognize the rower automatically.
Step 5: Confirm the Connection
A green checkmark will appear next to your device in the app’s equipment list.
The S4 monitor will display a "PC" symbol when the connection is successful.
If the connection isn’t successful, please double-check your cable and your device’s USB settings.
Troubleshooting Tips
Make sure your Android device supports USB connections.
Try a different USB cable if you have trouble connection.
Restart your Android device and WaterRower, then try again.
Now you are ready to row!
