Configuring a workout

Set up your training session with WATERROWER Connect.

The app lets you choose between three workout types: Distance, Duration, and Interval. An interval training combines distance, duration, and rest segments. Apart from these quick start items there are various video workout categories to explore. Let’s walk through setting up a distance workout:

  1. Open the WATERROWER Connect app.

  2. Tap the big "Start Rowing" button at the bottom of the screen. This opens a page with all workouts to explore.

  3. Select Distance from the top menu.

  4. Rotate the dial to set your desired distance.

  5. Make sure your WaterRower is turned on and connected.

  6. Tap "Start Rowing" again to begin your session.

Once you reach your chosen distance, the workout will automatically finish, and your results will be saved. If you’ve accidentally started the wrong workout or don’t want to save the results, you can simply choose to dismiss them instead.
